Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- HUAWEI announced the start of sales in Uzbekistan of the new smartphone HUAWEI P Smart Z. The gadget received a frameless FHD screen with a diagonal of 6.59 inches, retractable front camera, vision protection mode, a modern multifunctional main camera and ergonomic body made of composite material.

HUAWEI P Smart Z is based on a 12-nanometer Kirin 710F processor, which includes 4 high-performance A73 cores with a clock frequency of 2.2 GHz and 4 economical A53 cores with a frequency of 1.7 GHz. Advanced power-saving technologies allow the processor to efficiently allocate resources to optimize power consumption and performance in demanding applications and in multi-tasking modes.

The EMUI 9.0.1 user interface simplifies smartphone setup and access to basic everyday functions by reducing the number of menu sections by 10% and making them more conveniently located, and also increases the speed of the device further.

Special attention is given to the FHD screen with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels, featuring a high contrast of 1500:1 and color accuracy. TÜV Rheinland-certified vision protection mode significantly reduces the strain on the user’s eyes during prolonged use of the screen by filtering the blue part of the backlight spectrum. Due to the thin frames on all sides, the screen occupies 91% of the front surface of the case, ensuring maximum comfort while watching the video.

One of the main features of the new product is a retractable 16 megapixel front camera with intelligent shooting algorithms. This solution made it possible to abandon the cutouts in the screen and at the same time maximize the use of the surface area of the device. When folded, the camera is not visible from the outside. When the user activates the front camera, it appears in a second out of the case. For components, usually located in the cut-out of the screen, new locations were found: the speaker moved to the upper frame of the case, and the light sensor to the lower part of the screen. At the same time, the design of the front camera is capable of withstanding at least 100,000 operations, which is enough for 2.7 years of operation.

The new HUAWEI P Smart Z is equipped with a dual main camera consisting of 16 MP and 2 MP modules. The f/1.8 aperture allows the camera to capture more light, ensuring sharp shots in low light. The smartphone supports shooting video in Slow-Motion mode at 480 frames per second.

The back surface of the smartphone HUAWEI P Smart Z is visually divided into two parts. At the top are a camera and a fingerprint scanner. The lower part, which constitutes two thirds of the back surface, is framed in darker colors, emphasizing the futuristic design of the device. The back surface of the smartphone is made of durable composite material, immune to fingerprints.

The powerful 4000 mAh battery allows the smartphone to work up to 14 hours without recharging with active use of the Internet in 4G networks. In the mode of listening to local music, one charge is enough for 65 hours of work, and in the mode of continuous video transmission - for 9 hours.

The HUAWEI P Smart Z smartphone will be available on 9 July for the recommended retail price of 1,850,000 soums in midnight black and sapphire blue colors.

Since the beginning of the year, global shipments of HUAWEI smartphones have already exceeded 100 million units, and sales of HUAWEI WATCH GT smart watches since the launch amounted to 2 million copies. The value of the HUAWEI brand has also increased: in the ranking of the most expensive brands in the world, BrandZ ™, compiled annually by WPP communication agency and marketing company Kantar Millward Brown, HUAWEI ranked 47th, one position higher than last year.
