The cooperation between UNDP, HSB and the University of Antwerp had been established a few years ago and this year it has been already the fifth visit for mid-level career managers from public sector of Uzbekistan to learn good international management practices.
Over 20 students of the HSB participated in the study tour with theoretical and practical exercises, including lectures on main factors of economic development of European countries and courses on change management, values and cultural differences.
During the studies, the visits to Diamonds Cutting Company, Harbour of Antwerp, EcoLab, Holcim and BarCo have enriched knowledge and experience of students in the public and private management sphere.
The study tour was organized within UNDP project "Improving Public Sector Management Skills through Building Training and Research Capacity of the Higher School of Business under the Academy of State and Social Construction under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan" (HSB project).
