Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 1 December, new fines for violating traffic rules in Uzbekistan will be introduced:
- Unfastened seat belt – 170 thousand soums (previously 165 thousand soums).
- Lack of necessary equipment – 170 thousand soums (was 165 thousand soums).
- Driving without documents – 340 thousand soums (was 330 thousand soums).
- Driving without insurance – 340 thousand soums (was 330 thousand soums).
- Running a red light – 680 thousand soums (was 660 thousand soums).
- Stopping in the wrong place – 680 thousand soums (was 660 thousand soums).
- Using a phone while driving – 1 million 20 thousand soums (was 990 thousand soums).
- Driving without license plates – 1 million 700 thousand soums (was 1 million 650 thousand soums).
- Exceeding the speed limit up to 20 km/h – 340 thousand soums (previously 330 thousand soums).
- Exceeding speed from 20 to 40 km/h – 1 million 700 thousand soums (was 1 million 650 thousand soums).
- Exceeding the speed limit of more than 40 km/h – 3 million 60 thousand soums (previously 2 million 970 thousand soums).
-Driving in the oncoming lane – 3 million 400 thousand soums (was 3 million 300 thousand soums).
-Driving while drunk – 8 million 500 thousand soums, deprivation of rights for up to 3 years (was 8 million 250 thousand soums).
-Tinting without permission – 8 million 500 thousand soums (was 8 million 250 thousand soums).
