Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On measures to organize the activities of the Handicraft and Homework Support Fund under the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction" was adopted.

The Handicraft and Homework Support Fund was established in accordance with Presidential Resolution No. UP-91 from 12 June  2023 “On measures to attract the population to handicrafts and create favorable conditions for the development of handicraft activities.”

The document approved the Regulations on the procedure for providing subsidies to business entities that organized homework in mahallas, at the expense of the above Fund.

Business entities that organize homework are provided with a one-time subsidy in the amount of the average monthly income for the first 3 months of their activity.

To receive a subsidy, you must contact the local labor authority on the recommendation of the hokim’s assistant or through the SPIGU portal (my.gov.uz).

The appeal contains the data of the homeworker, address, current account to which the subsidy should be paid. The appeal is considered within 3 working days.

The subsidy is transferred to the applicant within 5 working days after the decision to allocate the subsidy is made.

A grant may be denied if:

documents are not presented in full;

an employment contract or a civil law contract concluded with a homeworker is not registered on the Unified Portal of Electronic Contracts;

Information about the homeworker’s income for the first 3 months is not confirmed.

The applicant is notified of the refusal to allocate a subsidy within 1 day.
