How many foreign citizens entered the Republic of Uzbekistan to visit relatives in January-September 2023?

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-September 2023, 4.07 million foreign citizens paid a visit to Uzbekistan to meet with their relatives, the State Statistics Agency said.

Most foreign citizens entered the Republic of Uzbekistan from: 

Tajikistan – 1.44 million people;

Kyrgyzstan – 1.17 million people;

Kazakhstan – 995,500 people;

Russia – 366,000 people;

Turkey – 36,400 people;

Turkmenistan – 5,800 people;

South Korea – 5,700 people;

Ukraine – 5,000 people;

Azerbaijan – 4,900 people;

Belarus – 4,800 people.
