Honeywell to take part in Uzbek project
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Honeywell (the United States) is planning to participate in a project on construction of complex on production of light olefins in Uzbekistan.

RIA Novosti reported quoted that the project on construction of complex on production of light olefins (ethylene and propylene) from natural gas, mined in Bukhara region. The complex will produce up to 500,000 tonnes of methanol and 190,000 tonnes of ethylene and propylene.

It is expected that Honeywell will develop preliminary feasibility study of the project by the end od 2012 and the sides will consider forms of cooperation.

The project’s preliminary cost is US$1.27 billion and it will be financed due to attracted loans by Honeywell and own resources of the Uzbek side.
