Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January - June 2021, the average monthly nominal accrued wages of employees of enterprises and organizations with the status of legal entities, excluding small businesses and agriculture (hereinafter referred to as average monthly wages) varied from one type of economic activity to another. Average monthly salary includes allowances, remuneration, incentive payments, compensation payments and remuneration for unworked time, as well as income tax withheld from individuals and contributions to the trade union fund.

The highest level of average monthly wages was observed in financial and insurance activities and amounted to 7 111.0 thousand soums, which is 2.4 times higher than the national level, and the lowest - in health care and the provision of social services and amounted to 2 049.0 thousand soums or 69.0% of the republican level of average monthly wages, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

The average monthly wage of workers in industrial enterprises (excluding small businesses) in January-Ju ne 2021 amounted to 3 734.6 thousand soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2020, by 7. 9%.

The average monthly wage of workers in construction enterprises (excluding small businesses) in January-June 2021 amounted to 3 690.7 thousand soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2020, by 22.1%.

The average monthly salary of employees of trade ente rprises (excluding small businesses) in January-Ju ne 2021 amounted to 2 977.3 thousand soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2020, by 21.7%.

In January-June 2021, the average monthly salary of workers in transportation and storage enterprises (excluding small businesses) amounted to 3 712.6 thousand soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2020, by 10.3%.

The average monthly salary of employees of information and communication enterprises (excluding small businesses) in January-June 2021 amounted to 5 138.4 thousand soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2020, by 21.3%.

The average monthly salary of employees of financial and insuran ce enterprises (excluding small businesses) in January-June 2021 amounted to 7 111.0 thousand soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2020, by 29 .6%.

The average monthly salary of workers in the type of economic activity “Education” (excluding small businesses) in January-June 2021 amounted to 2 250.0 thous and soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2020, by 14.4%.

The average monthly salary of healthcare workers and the provision of social services (excluding small businesses) in January-June 2021 amounted to 2 049.0 thousand soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2020, by 15.1%.

In all regions of the republic, by type of economic activity, the highest level of average monthly wages was observed in the sphere of financial and insurance activities. In most regions, the lowest wages was found in health care and social services.

For four types of economic activity, the level of average monthly wages in the Republic of Karakalpakstan (2 657.6 thousand soums) was observed below the national average, and for other types - higher.

For six types of economic activity, the level of average monthly wages in Andijan region was observed below the average regional level (2 575.1 thousand soums), and at enterprises of information and communications, industry, financial and insurance activities - higher.

For five types of economic activity, the level of average monthly wages in Bukhara region was observed below the average regional level (2 646.9 thousand soums), and for other types - higher.

For five types of economic activities, the level of average monthly wages in Jizzakh region was observed below the average regional level (2 274.0 thousand soums), and in other types - higher.

For six types of economic activity, the level of average monthly wages in Kashkadarya region was observed above the regional average (2 297.5 thousand soums), and in education, trade, health care and the provision of social services - lower.

For six types of economic activities, the level of average monthly wages in Navoi region was observed above the average regional level (3 768.1 thousand soums), and in the remaining 3 types - lower.

For five types of economic activities, the level of average monthly wages in Namangan region was observed above the average regional level (2 216.3 thousand soums), and in other types - lower.

For three types of economic activities, the level of average monthly wages in Samarkand region was observed below the average regional level (2 327.6 thousand soums), and in other types - higher.

For six types of economic activity, the level of average monthly wages in Surkhandarya region was observed above the regional average (2 358.1 thousand soums), and in education, trade, health care and the provision of social services - lower.

For six types of economic activities, the level of average monthly wages in Syrdarya region was observed below the average regional level (2 446.2 thousand soums), and in other types of information and communications, financial and insurance activities - higher.

For six types of economic activity, the level of average monthly wages in Tashkent region was observed below the average regional level (3 110.0 thousand soums), and in industry, construction, financial and insurance activities - higher.

For five types of economic activity, the level of average monthly wages in Fergana region was observed above the regional average (2 380.5 thousand soums), and in trade, education, health care and the provision of social services and construction - lower.

For six types of economic activity, the level of average monthly wages in Khorezm region was observed above the average regional level (2 444.5 thousand soums), and in the spheres of education, trade, health care and the provision of social services - lower.

For six types of economic activity, the level of average monthly wages in the city of Tashkent was observed below the average city level (4 549.1 thousand soums), and in other types of information and communication, financial and insurance activities - higher.

In January-June 2021, the average monthly nominal accrued wages in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 2 971.1 thousand soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2020, by 16.0%.
