The First Deputy Chairperson of the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan Sayfiddin Gafarov participated at the event.

During the meeting, it was noted that the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan and the Overseas Human Resources and Industry Development Association (AOTS) signed a memorandum of understanding in 2011. (The AOTS was reorganized into HIDA in 2012).

The memorandum was directed at establishing business relations on training specialists of the leading industries of Uzbekistan in technologic management, corporate management and human resources. In line with the memorandum, 20 specialists of the State Property Committee, Uzkimyosanoat, Uzvinosanoat-holding, General Motors, Andijon Yog’-Moy, Toshkent Tractor Zavodi and others visited Japan to undergo training from 24 February to 13 March 2012.

At the meeting at the State Property Committee, the Uzbek specialists, who visited Japan, talked about courses and new skills, which their acquired. In particular, they shared with knowledge on marketing, production management, quality management, human resources, etc.

The Uzbek specialists said that they were impressed with the visit to such companies as Nippon Wiper Blade Co., Ltd, Omron Kyoto Taiyo Co., Ltd, Kyoto Tool Co., Ltd, Toyota Motor Corporation.

Kadzuo Kaneko said that he is happy to visit Tashkent and meeting with the Uzbek specialists, who undergo training in Japan, as well as effective cooperation between two states.

The State Property Committee said that it is planning to hold several events with HIDA. Including, on 2-26 September, Tashkent will host a workshop “Marketing, oriented to exports” with participation of Japanese experts Akihuro Inoye and Kaori Saito.

At the same time, the work is underway on organization of educational seminar “Corporateive management” in January-February 2013 and the visit of the Uzbek specialists to Japan.

During the meeting, the State Property Committee supported proposal of HIDA on creation of Society of Graduates of Educational Courses.
