As reported earlier, Hi-Tech Bank signed an agreement with Svyaz Bank (Russia) to granting right to carry out money transfers of individuals through BLIZKO system.
Currently, some 450 points in Uzbekistan serve the clients through BLIZKO money transfer system, the Russian system said.
The clients can send remittances at over 7,000 points in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Latvia, Moldavia, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and the Czech Republic.
Central Bank of Uzbekistan issued license to Hi-Tech Bank closed joint stock commercial bank in January 2010. The announced charter capital of the bank makes up 5.25 billion soums.
Priority directions of Hi-Tech Bank’s activities are to assist deepening social-economic reforms, financing projects of small and private businesses, as well as stimulating formation of new class of proprietors in Uzbekistan.
BLIZKO money transfer system is trade mark and property of Svyaz Bank. The bank started to work from July 2006.
Main shareholder of Svyaz Bank is State Corporation “Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Activity” (Vneshekonombank), which owns 99.4666% share s in the bank.
