Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In connection with the dissemination in social networks and the media of information about the return of the license to private joint-stock commercial banks Turkistonbank and HI-TECH BANK to carry out banking activities, the Central Bank reports the following:

Based on the decision of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 22/1 from 7 October 2022, the license for the right to carry out banking activities was revoked from the private joint-stock commercial bank HI-TECH BANK, and on this day the liquidation process of "H-TECH BANK began.

The private joint-stock commercial bank HI-TECH BANK filed a lawsuit in connection with the decision of the Central Bank, using the right of any interested person to apply to the court in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The appeal of the private joint-stock commercial bank HI-TECH BANK to the court regarding the decision of the Central Bank may be considered on the basis of procedural legislation.
