Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The head of UzAuto Motors and UzAuto Motors Powertrain Bo Inge Andersson has been fined 5% of his salary due to deficiencies in his work.
According to Uzbek media, Andersson failed to take the necessary steps to address overdue receivables related to the company’s foreign economic operations in a timely manner.
This measure was applied in accordance with Article 312 ("Disciplinary Penalties") of Uzbekistan’s Labor Code.
The implementation of the decision has been assigned to the company’s HR director and financial director.
Bo Inge Andersson was appointed CEO of UzAuto Motors and UzAuto Motors Powertrain (which produces engines and transmissions) by Uzavtosanoat in August 2021.
Since UzAuto’s full transition to state ownership, the company has been focused on transforming its business and moving from losses to profitability.
