The sum of issued loans made up 673.7 billion soums as of 1 January 2012, of which 84.5 billion soums were issued to industry, 223.1 billion soums – to agriculture, 54.2 billion soums – trade and catering, 55.8 billion soums – to construction, 47.9 billion soums – communal services, 31.9 billion soums – transport and communication and 176.3 billion soums to other sectors of economy.
The bank said it issued 308.5 billion soums to support small businesses and private entrepreneurship, which helped to create over 21,000 jobs. The special attention was paid to supporting businesswomen. The bank issued over 39.5 billion soums to development of family business.
Some 7,428 citizens of Uzbekistan received preferential loans to development of cattle breeding, production of vegetables and fruits, poultry, development of greenhouses. The bank issued 19.9 billion soums to these purposes due to own resources.
