Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Renowned Uzbek comedic actress Halima Ibragimova has passed away at the age of 45.

Her death was announced on Instagram by Ulugbek Kholmiedov, the son of one of her colleagues, and singer Yulduz Usmanova.

In recent months, Halima Ibragimova had been battling a serious illness. In November, she reached out to her fans in a video message, asking them not to worry and expressing hope for a swift recovery.
