Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Presidential Decree "On Additional Measures to Organize Specialized Sports Schools for Boxing and Gymnastics in the City of Tashkent" has been adopted.
According to the Decree, by 1 September 2024:
- Optimized educational plans will be developed for specialized sports schools;
- Special attention will be paid to in-depth study of the history of Uzbekistan and the English language, as well as sports psychology and "General Natural Science" using modern methods;
- Training in a second foreign language will be introduced in specialized sports schools;
- At least 3 exemplary state preschool educational institutions will be selected in each district and city for the establishment of gymnastics halls.
In accordance with the Decree, in specialized sports schools:
- The educational process will be organized within the framework of grades 5-11 based on special educational programs;
- International and domestic coach-selectors will be involved in the admission processes to specialized sports schools;
- Teaching will take place in classes with a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 24 students per class;
- The total maximum number of students will be limited to 168 individuals.
Starting from the academic year 2024/2025, master classes will be held annually with the participation of domestic and foreign sports masters, coaches, and renowned athletes.
According to the Decree, student athletes from specialized sports schools will participate directly as separate teams in Uzbekistan's championships and cups.
Additionally, coach schools for boxing and gymnastics will be organized within the specialized sports school system.
From September 1, 2024, a system for paying a monthly 100% allowance will be introduced for employees of specialized sports schools.
