Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 12 July 2021, Gulnora Rakhimova was appointed Deputy Minister of Finance.

Gulnora Rakhimova was born in 1975 in Tashkent, ethnic Uzbek. In 1996 she graduated from the Tashkent State Economic University.

G. Rakhimova began her career in 1995 as an engineer of the 1st category of the Educational Faculty of the National University of Uzbekistan.

From 2002 to 2014, she worked as a senior lecturer at the Department of Management of the Faculty of Economics of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek and as a researcher, senior researcher at the Department of Regional Economics and Management.

In 2014-2017 she worked as a senior teacher of the department of "Treasury execution of the state budget" of the Training Center for the training and retraining of employees of financial bodies and financial and accounting units of budgetary organizations under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in 2017-2019 as the head of the department.

In 2019-2020 she worked as Head of the Department for Management and Monitoring of Public Procurement of the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and then as Director of the Department of Public Procurement of the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Prior to her appointment, Gulnora Rakhimova was Deputy Head of the Treasury - Director of the Public Procurement Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
