Gulnara Karimova becomes honorary member of Swiss diplomatic club

Permanent Representative of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Nations Office and other International Orgaznizations in Geneva, Gulnora Karimova, has been awarded the title of honorary member of the Cercle Diplomatique de Geneve, the press service of the Forum of Culture and Art of Uzbekistan foundation said.
The Cercle Diplomatique de Geneve was one of the prestigious public organizations in Switzerland.
Members of the club include over 100 representatives from diplomatic corps, leading politicians, economists and cultural workers.
"We are glad that the council of the honorary members of our club has been expanded thanks to Ms Gulnora Karimova, who enjoys wide popularity not only in her country, but also far beyond its borders. She has been awarded the honorary title for her multi-faceted activities in political, social and cultural spheres," the press service quoted Robert Blum, the organization’s president, as saying.
