Joint statement, said that in the days leading up to the commencement of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, IMG and GULI faced a difficult situation in which certain groups threatened to protest GULI’s fashion show on 15 September.

In light of safety and security concerns due to the heightened security threats in New York City this weekend, IMG and GULI decided that it would be in the best interest of the safety of guests for the GULI show not to proceed as planned at the Lincoln Center.

The statement said that GULI will proceed with the show at a location to be communicated to the invitees.
