Brazil outplayed Cameroon with the score 4-1. Neymar recorded a brace. Fred and Fernandinho were also on target for Brazil. Joel Matip netted the goal of African side.

In the second match Mexico claimed a 3-1 victory over Croatia. Rafael Marquez, Andres Guardado and Javier Hernandez scored for Mexico. Ivan Perisic struck only goal of Croatia.

It is worth to mention that Ravshan Irmatov from Uzbekistan officiated the match between Mexico and Croatia.

Brazil topped the Group A with seven points. Mexico is on the second place with seven points.

The result means that Mexico will face The Netherlands in the last 16 on 29 June, while Brazil take on Chile on 28 June.
