According to the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, assets in foreign currency exceeded US$14 billion as of 1 June 2018 against US$14.415 billion as of June 2018.
The volume of monetary gold in the gold and foreign exchange reserves of Uzbekistan grew from US$13.936 billion as of 1 May 2018 to US$14.12 billion as of June 2018.
Net gold and foreign currency reserves fell from US$23.083 billion as of 1 May to US$27.025 billion as of 1 June 2018.
The Central Bank said that the net gold and foreign exchange reserves do not take into account the currency funds of commercial banks and government bodies (except the Ministry of Finance, the Reconstruction and Development Fund) on accounts at the Central Bank, which are liabilities of the Central Bank to these organizations
