During the meeting, the sides called for boosting political dialogue between two states in various levels. The sides confirmed mutual interest to strengthening relations both in internal and multilateral formats. The sides said that the countries created necessary legal base for it as the sides inked over 18 agreements.
The sides underlined importance of developing mutual cooperation in trade-economic, financial-investment and tourism sphere. It was said that the trade turnover between two states made up US$86.1 million in 2010 and currently some 18 enterprises with Greek investments operate in Uzbekistan.
Officials of Uzbekistan and Greece exchanged opinion on international and regional issues. The sides considered security issues in the region, including issues related to Afghanistan. They also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
