Graduates of the Presidential Schools are 100 percent covered by higher education

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Agency for Specialized Educational Institutions organized an event dedicated to seeing off graduates of the Presidential Schools in Nukus, Khiva, Fergana, Karshi, Andijan, Gulistan, Nurafshan, Bukhara, Navoi, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Termez, Namangan and Tashkent into independent life and awarding them graduation certificates. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan.

Presidential schools have been created since 2019. There are 14 Presidential Schools in the Agency’s system - one in each region, 9 creative schools, 3 pivotal specialized schools and 166 specialized schools.

At the end of the 2021/2022 academic year, 92 students successfully graduated from Presidential schools, 138 from creative schools, and 170 students from specialized support schools. One hundred percent of graduates are covered by higher education.

This year, among the graduates of 14 Presidential Schools, the number of those awarded with an international certificate in language proficiency (IELTS) is 326 people. 168 people received international certificates for assessing the level of knowledge in mathematics and English. 275 people entered international universities, of which 18 were accepted on the basis of a grant. The number of graduates who planned to study at the Yangi Uzbekistan University was 176 people. Of the 233 graduates of 9 creative schools, 192 people received international and national certificates.

Over the past year alone, additional dormitories for 600 places, classrooms and canteens for 300 places, as well as two modern libraries and sports halls have been built in 5 creative schools. As a result of construction and installation work carried out in 2022, admission quotas were increased by 33% in four creative schools.

In the 2022/2023 academic year, 3,525 students graduated from specialized schools and boarding schools, of which 486 won grants from reputable foreign universities. More than 1,800 students have received national and international certificates.
