The company will launch production of new car within the programme on localization of production of ready products, spare parts and materials based on industrial cooperation for 2011-2013.

The programme was approved by the presidential resolution “On measures on further deepening localization of ready products, spare parts and materials based on industrial cooperation for 2011-2013”.

According to the programme, GM Uzbekistan will produce 8,000 cars of new model for US$52.39 million in 2012 and 80,000 cars for US$523.357 million in 2013.

Overall, within the programme, Uzavtosanoat joint stock company will implement 25 projects. In particular, enterprises of Uzavtosanoat will launch production of fuel pumps and seats for GSVEM cars, wheel disk, radiators, air conditioning, ventilation and heating systems.

It is also planned that the enterprises will begin production of chassis, automobile components, fuel tanks, bumpers, headlights and lights, etc.

In line with the programme, the enterprises of Uzavtosanoat will produce localized goods for US$14.52 million in 2011 and US$192.595 million in 2012.

The programme said that the volume of localized goods production at Uzavtosanoat system will reach US$1.139 billion in 2013.
