Gissarneftegaz JV commissions new well

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Gissarneftegaz JV has finished drilling well No 33 in the Northern Nishan gas condensate field in the Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan.

Depth of the new well is 3,600m; outcome is 509 tcm of natural gas per day.

As of 16 February 2009, 18.44 Mcm of natural gas, 585 tonnes of oil and 1,609 tonnes of gas condensate are recovered daily at Gissarneftegaz fields.
