German envoy hands over books to National University
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Uzbekistan Wolfgang Neuen handed over large set of books of German Research Society (DFG) to German library of the National University named after Mirzo Ulugbek. The set includes 106 books on German language and referential materials on German language.
Presented books contain latest research information in linguistics and enriched fund of German Library of the University, which contains large collection of German language literature.
The books were presented within the partnership between German Institute of Westfalische Wilhelms-Universitat in Munster and German language chair of the National University named after Mirzo Ulugbek in Tashkent. Scientists of two institutes selected books and applied to DFG to receive them.
Within this cooperation, the sides conducted many scientific conferences both in Munster and Tashkent. The sides also exchange teacher students.
