Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The gross domestic product of Uzbekistan made up about 153 trillion soums in January-June of 2018 or increased by 4.9% compared to the same period of last year. This was reported at the meeting of the Milli Tiklanish faction in the Legislative Chamber.

The GDP per capita made up 4.65 million soums, which increased by 3.1% as compared to the same period of 2017.

At the same time, in comparison with the corresponding period of 2017, growth of industrial production made up 6.1%, agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 2.7%, construction - 9.7%, other services - 5.0%.

The meeting noted that the state budget was implemented in accordance with the approved parameters with a surplus of 0.1% to GDP.
