Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the Khokimiyat of Kashkadarya region will hold a Youth Tourism gathering on 8-12 August.

This event was organized in pursuance of the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On additional measures to diversify domestic tourism services" from 30 April 2022.

It is expected that 800 participants will take part in the congress. In particular, Shakhrisabz region will be visited by young people from the countries of such CIS countries as Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.

The event, which will begin at the Lochin camp, includes reading, master classes, sports competitions in national sports, cultural and entertainment events, a gala concert and much more. Also, young people will have the opportunity to take part in creative meetings with famous figures in the theater and film industry.

In addition, excursions to tourist sites are planned for the participants of the congress. Also, an info tour for local and foreign media will be organized as part of the rally.
