The number of transactions conducted on the bank’s plastic cards since the beginning of the year exceeds 94,000. Their volume has totaled 3.1 billion soums (up 4 times compared to the same period of previous year). For the reporting period, cash withdrawals from

Galla Bank’s plastic card accounts made up 1.2 billion soums. Deposits comprised 2.1 billion soums.

Today, the bank circulates three types of plastic cards – corporate cards, credit cards and private debit cards. Currently around 600 enterprises, 62,500 corporate cards are serviced by the bank.

Galla Bank pays an annual interest of 14% on the plastic card accounts.

The number of the bank’s terminals reached 600 at the end of the first quarter, of them 55 are bank terminals, and the rest are located at retail trade points across the country. To compare with the last year, the number of the bank’s service points has grown by 100.

The bank has been offering non-cash money instruments since early 2005. The above-described indicators illustrate fast growth and development of this sector of banking services.
