In line with the decision, the bank will issue new emission of shares for 36 billion soums. The charter capital of the bank will reach 50 billion soums.

The presidential resolution “On measures for further increasing investment activities of joint-stock commercial banks Pakhta Bank and Galla Bank” on 8 October 2008 said that Finance Ministry will buy shares for 20 billion soums and Uzbekistan Reconstruction and Development Fund will get shares for 10.5 billion soums.

Uzbekistan Temir Yollari and Uzdonmahsulot will but shares worth 2 billion soums each, while Uzagrosugurta and Uzvinprom-holding will get shares for 1 billion soums and 500 million soums respectively.
