Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan met with employees of the Seoul Police Agency and discussed the current state and prospects of interdepartmental cooperation with the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the city of Tashkent, Dunyo news agency reports.

The parties noted the positive dynamics of cooperation between law enforcement agencies. Video conferences and exchanges of visits are held regularly, including at the management level. The practice of holding master classes and seminars by South Korean specialists in areas of mutual interest has been established.

During the meeting, taking into account the interest of both parties in further building up interdepartmental cooperation, the South Korean side proposed to organize a visit of the head of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Directorate to Seoul to comprehensively familiarize himself with the activities of the Seoul Police Agency and exchange experience in areas of interest.
