Some 31 regional NGOs received grants for implementation of social important projects in Uzbekistan, the Fund Forum said.

The programme was divided into two stages. The first stage was held in May and 11 regional NGOs received grants. So far all of these projects were completed. Some 41,000 people benefited this social initiative. Over 64 training has been held, which attracted 3,434 people.

Overall within the programme, 42 projects for 83 million soums were selected from all regions of Uzbekistan. The projects focus various directions, including healthcare, preserving cultural values, ecology, mass media, education, social infrastructure and others.

On 20 December, the results of the second stage have been summed up. Some 31 projects of NGOs were selected for financing. Overall these projects received 61,697 million soums.
