The report said the sides noted the cooperation between Uzbekistan and France on gradual development in all spheres, including parliamentarian cooperation.
The agency reported that the French guest hailed democratic processes and reforms in Uzbekistan, directed to protection of rights and interests of population.
Jean-Pierre Jouyet said that the collaboration between two states are developing in all spheres and the visit gave good opportunity to acquaint with wide-scale work in protection of human rights and freedoms.
Jouyet said France supports gradual reforms in Uzbekistan and it is for mutually beneficial cooperation and strengthening friendship between two countries.
The sides exchanged opinion on current affairs and perspectives of cooperation of law makers of Uzbekistan and France. The sides noted there is need for information and experience exchange between parliaments of the countries.
The agency said the delegation of France also paid a visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. No other details were revealed.
