Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The French newspaper Figaro calls for a trip to Uzbekistan, the Dunyo reports.

“Uzbekistan defines itself as a crossroads - a crossroads of civilizations with the heritage of all great empires. It is also a crossroads of religions with architectural structures testifying to Buddhist, Christian and Muslim influences. Finally, a cultural crossroads with lifestyles, languages, traditional dances and crafts that have been built and developed over the centuries, and exchanges between caravans on the mythical Silk Road, ”the publication writes.

“From ancient Samarkand to modern Tashkent to Bukhara with its colorful bazaars, you will follow a route that will reveal to you many faces and the soul of a country that has preserved the traces of all civilizations that have passed through it,” the publication urges.
