Free Wi-Fi zones created at Uzbek educational establishments
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Fund Forum, the Center for Youth Initiatives “Kelajak Ovozi” at the support of the Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information, Ministry of Higher and Secodnary Special Education of Uzbekistan launched new project on opening free Wi-Fi zone “Kelajak Ovozi” at educational establishments of the country, except Tashkent.
The project is aimed at providing free access to Internet resources, search information, transfer data, popularizing internet among youth, which should help to develop internal resources and Uzbek segment of Internet.
Fund Forum said that at special routers were installed at Wi-Fi zones of Kelajak Ovozi at the educational establishments of Uzbekistan. The access is free both for teachers and students. This initiative also will help to make lessons more interactive.
Currently, 69 universities of Uzbekistan has Wi-Fi zones of Kelajak Ovozi across Uzbekistan, the Fund Forum said.
