Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Four people have died as a result of a road accident that occurred in Kashkadarya region.

According to the Kashkadarya Regional Department of Internal Affairs (DIA), the incident took place in Kukdalin district.

A Chevrolet Lacetti veered into the oncoming lane and collided with a Nexia.

Out of the five passengers in the Chevrolet Lacetti, three, all classmates born in 1998, were killed on the spot.

In the Nexia, one passenger also lost their life. The driver and three other passengers of the Nexia were hospitalized, with two of them currently in intensive care.
