Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Four companies have expressed interest in the privatization of the state’s share in the charter capital of Avtooyna.

Portfolio Investments was engaged as a consultant for the privatization process to ensure smooth organization.

As of 4 September 2024, the consultant received applications from four international and local investors interested in the privatization. All applications were thoroughly reviewed by both the State Assets Management Agency and the consultant. As a result, all applicants were deemed eligible and will proceed to the next stage.

The successful candidates from the "Expression of Interest" (EOI) stage will now move to the next step, the "Submission of Binding Offers" (BO). Each applicant will receive a personalized procedural letter (Process Letter) from the consultant detailing the current phase.

Once the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is signed, applicants will be given access to the Virtual Data Room (VDR), which contains comprehensive information about the asset, including historical and projected financial data, along with other materials prepared by the consultant.

Binding offers (BO) for acquiring the asset will be accepted until 6:00 PM (Tashkent time) on 17 October 2024. Prior to this deadline, applicants must also submit a guarantee deposit of at least 1% of their proposed price through their personal account on the "E-auksion" electronic trading platform to the account of JSC "Electronic Online Auction Organization."
