Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 August 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Deputy Foreign Minister of India Sanjay Verma, who heads the Indian External Ministry delegation at bilateral political consultations with the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.

The parties discussed topical issues of dynamically developing relations, the implementation of joint programs, prospects for intensifying political dialogue, trade and investment ties, cultural, humanitarian and tourist exchanges.

“We are glad to receive Deputy Foreign Minister Sanjay Verma, who is heading the delegation of the Indian Foreign Ministry at bilateral political consultations with the Uzbek Foreign Ministry. We paid special attention to the dynamically developing Uzbek-Indian cooperation and the active role of foreign affairs agencies in maintaining high dynamics,” the Uzbek Foreign Minister noted.
