Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Flydubai caried out the first regular flight from Dubai to Samarkand.

The plane landed at Samarkand International Airport on 21 September at 02:36 local time. The aircraft, which made its first flight on the route Dubai-Samarkand-Dubai, was traditionally greeted with a water arch.

Flydubai’s first Boeing 737 flight brought 44 people. At the Samarkand airport, the general director of the airline, the crew and passengers were greeted with flowers and memorable gifts.

Flights on the route Dubai-Samarkand-Dubai will be operated on a regular basis twice a week - on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Also, it is planned to connect Namangan and Dubai by direct flights. The first flight on this route is scheduled for 24 September.
