Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Tashkent International Airport will soon host five new taxi counters.

Uzbekistan Airports has announced electronic tenders for the right to provide passenger and luggage transportation services in the arrivals hall. Participants and taxi service operators must meet specific requirements outlined in the technical specifications, available on the E-auksion website under the “Lot Documents” section. All bidders are required to strictly comply with the established rules.

The plan includes five counters (lots №1–№5), each covering an area of 3 sq.m. The starting rental rate is 1,000,000 soums per sq.m excluding VAT.

According to the press service of Uzbekistan Airports, the initiative aims to create a transparent and organized taxi system, ensuring that residents and visitors can easily access reliable transportation. The new operators will help streamline operations, reduce illegal transportation, and guarantee passengers high-quality service according to unified standards, contributing to a positive image of both the airport and the city.
