Fish Catch in Uzbekistan Exceeds 53 Thousand Tons in Six Months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first half of 2025, Uzbekistan’s fish catch amounted to 53.2 thousand tons, which is 9.4% higher than the same period last year. These preliminary figures were provided by the National Statistics Committee.

Of the total volume, 27.1 thousand tons came from fish farms, 3.0 thousand tons from dehkan (smallholder) and subsidiary farms, and 23.1 thousand tons from organizations engaged in agricultural activities.
