Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 6 July, First Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Оmonullo Nasritdinkhodjaev met with a delegation of Societe Generale headed by the Regional Director for Central Asia and Transcaucasia of Societe Generale Ms. Teiba Guliyeva.

Societe Generale is a French financial conglomerate and is one of the "big four" in the banking market. 

According to the indicator of 2017, it is considered the third largest bank. It ranks 20th in the world in terms of the number of assets. Since 2011, it has been among the banks of global systemic importance.

At this meeting, the parties discussed issues of banking transformation, banking transactions, financing by the bank of projects in the field of energy, transport, oil and gas, as well as issues of determining investment opportunities, market access rules and providing strategic advice.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue expanding bilateral fruitful cooperation within the framework of joint projects.
