The forum was organized by Fund Forum, Center for Youth Initiatives “Kelajak Ovozi”, Center for Political Studies and Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of Uzbekistan, as well as UNDP.

The finalists discussed actual problems and ways of their solving with using their skills. Six participants of the final became winners of the discussion forum, which was held in Uzbek, English and Russian leagues. Nine more participants of the forum were also awarded. Chairperson of Trustee Council of Fund Forum Gulnara Karimova handed over diplomas to finalists.

Format of Republication Discussion Forum “Dilemma” was developed by young participants of the Center for Youth Initiatives “Kelajak Ovozi” about five years ago.

Qualification rounds of the Republication Discussion Forum “Dilemma” were held in the regions of Uzbekistan from 26 March to 24 April 2012. Two persons participated in the finals, which were held in Uzbek, English and Russian leagues.

The Uzbek league finalists discussed such issues as globalization and mass culture, fighting internet addiction was main topic of English league. Russian league considered participation of students in formation curriculum.

After each discussion, invited experts gave their comments and recommendations to the finalists. Gulnara Karimova also shared her view on discussions and gave recommendations to the young participants.
