The festival will be held at the Center for national art in Tashkent at 18:00 on 30 September. Students of Tashkent Textile and Light Industry Institute will present their works.

The main purpose of the Festival is to impart national values to young people, to preserve and increase the cultural heritage, traditions and customs.

Khan Atlas is traditional Uzbek fabric, produced from silk. The fabric has unique colors. The fabric can be used in production of clothes. Khan Atlas is popular in Uzbekistan and abroad.

Within the festival, students of Tashkent Textile and Light Industry Institute, who are making their first steps in design industry, will present collection of clothes from khan atlas. Majority of students will present their works for the first time.

In line with the tradition, all students and guests of the Festival should be in clothes, produced from khan atlas.
