Uzbekistan should host FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup from 18 August to 9 September 2012, but in December FIFA decided to stage games in Japan.

During his visit to Uzbekistan, Joseph S. Blatter expressed his apology and that it was FIFA mistake, not UFF. He said that FIFA did not analyze situation carefully.

Joseph S. Blatter stated that he familiarized with development of football in Uzbekistan and he was impressed with the results.

He said that Uzbekistan is ready to host tournaments and events of FIFA, He said that the country can host FIFA Congress and the FIFA U-20 Championship in 2015.

FIFA President underlined that FIFA U-20 Championship will be held in Asia in 2015 and Uzbekistan can submit his application to host the games.

During his visit to Uzbekistan, Blatter today visited Forum's Palace, Palace of Symposiums, new stadium of Locomotive and Bunyodkor stadium, which is under construction now.
