Festival of European Cinema starts in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Festival of European Cinema will be held at Cinema Palace named after Alisher Navoi from 20 to 26 May 2013.

The festival is organized by the National Agency Uzbekkino and delegation of the European Union in Uzbekistan.

The festival is one of key events in series of cultural events, which were organized to mark Day of Europe (observed on 9 May).

The event will present 13 films, including animation film, documentary and short-length films.

Italian comedy “Welcome to south” opened the festival. The entrance is free.
