The Center for coordination and control over functioning of securities market under the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan registered the emission of shares of the company.
In line with the emission, the company will issue 3,953,879 ordinary and 80,691 preferential shares with par value of 10,120 soums each. Total volume of the issue makes up 40,829,848,400 soums.
The shares will be placed on closed subscription among shareholders through replacement of old shares to new ones.
The company said that the part of shares for 40.547 billion soums is paid on par value and other part for 282.42 million soums will be paid due to net income for 2010.
Ferghanaazot is the largest enterprise in Uzbekistan for the production of nitrogen fertilizer and it was commissioned in 1956. Currently, the plant is the largest chemical enterprise for the production of ammonium nitrate and carbamide.
