Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Khokim of Ferghana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held a meeting with Wang Qiyu, representative of the Chinese company Chaowei Group, to discuss promising investment projects in the region.

Special attention was given to plans for establishing a large trade complex in Ferghana, designed to host enterprises of Chinese companies with globally recognized brands, organize product distribution, and facilitate direct exports to neighboring countries and Europe.

During the discussion, it was noted that Uzbekistan-China relations are reaching a new level, and Chinese investors’ interest in projects in Uzbekistan, particularly in Ferghana Region, continues to grow.

The proposed project is inspired by the Chinese cluster development model, with the trade complex forming part of a broader network equipped with its own distribution channels in developed markets worldwide.

The project also emphasizes the creation of service facilities, recreational areas, and hotels, aimed at generating new jobs and providing stable employment for the local population, ensuring mutual benefits for both parties.

After reviewing the project proposals, the regional leader confirmed his readiness to provide comprehensive support.

Following the meeting, both sides agreed to develop a detailed concept for the trade complex and continue collaborative efforts for its implementation.
