Ferghana Region discusses three major projects with Chinese investors

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Governor of Ferghana region Khayrullo Bozorov held a meeting with a delegation led by Chen Mingbo, Director of the Chinese company Hunan Zhongwei Group.

The talks focused on major investment projects planned for implementation in the cities of Ferghana and Margilan.

At present, investors have prepared three specific initiatives: the construction of a modern 12-storey hotel on the grounds of the Burhaniddin Margilani Scientific and Educational Tourism Center in Margilan; the development of a large international trade center nearby; and the establishment of the Foshan industrial technopark in the Baqay small industrial zone of Ferghana, which will unite more than twenty enterprises.

The meeting included a presentation on the location of the facilities, their architectural design, and their economic efficiency.

The parties discussed ways to improve the projects, introduce best practices, and outlined measures aimed at accelerating their implementation.
