Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Fencing Federation continues to conduct educational online seminars. Today a similar event was organized for trainers from the regions. 

The purpose of the seminar was to exchange experiences and opinions with foreign colleagues, which will serve the further development of fencing in our country and high-quality training of athletes. The online seminar was attended by representatives of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, representatives and coaches of the Fencing Federation of Uzbekistan and regions, as well as a specialist from Poland Konsalsky Jorzi-Zbigniev. 

The online seminar was held under the supervision of foreign specialists - coach of the Uzbekistan national fencing team (epee) Jose Benavides (Venezuela) and Konsalsky Jorzi-Zbigniev (Poland).

During an online conversation, experts expressed their opinion on why fencing pays great attention to strategy and tactics of fighting. The seminar also discussed topical areas that need to be paid special attention, namely: education of fencers, especially the approach from the side of coaches. In their speech, the experts spoke in detail about the technical and tactical training of fencers and shared their many years of experience.

“When teaching an athlete the tactics and techniques of fencing combat, a coach must take into account his individual qualities. The system of training an athlete consists in a special extended and in-depth training, which also together constitutes the integrity of technical, tactical and psychological training. Thanks to a correctly set task, the coach must teach a student-athlete to develop a battle strategy based on a real situation and teach how to apply this tactic in action,” said Jose Benavides.

During the online event, participants received answers to their questions, thereby expanding their knowledge and experience.
