Feed products are delivered for wild animals in all protected natural areas of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, in all protected natural areas (PAs) of Uzbekistan, various biotechnical measures are being implemented to help wild animals find food in the winter, the Ministry of Ecology of Uzbekistan said.

In particular, bran and 5 tons of salt are delivered to the food points of all divisions of the Surkhan State Reserve, 1650 bales of roughage in the Gissar State Reserve, 50 bales of hay in the Bobotog National Natural Park, and 500 bales of feed, salt and bran in the Yukori Tupalang National Natural Park, the ministry added.

In addition, wild animals of the Zaamin National Natural Park received barley, bran and salt, the Nurata State Reserve 100 bales of roughage, barley, alfalfa and salt, the Chatkal State Biosphere Reserve 1 ton of salt, 1 ton of bran and 100 bales of feed, the Khorezm National Natural Park salt, barley, 5 tons of bran and 200 bales of roughage, Kyzylkum State Reserve bran, feed, salt and 400 bales of roughage.

Also, 20 bales of roughage, wheat, bran and salt were delivered to the Saigachiy complex reserve, wheat, bran and salt to the Barsakelmes state reserve, barley, bran, hay and salt to the Zaamin State Reserve, grain for birds, Aralkum National Natural Park 500 kg of corn grain and 300 bales of roughage, Zarafshan National Natural Park 100 pieces of pressed straw and alfalfa, 10 tons of bran, Southern Ustyurt National Natural Park bran and roughage hay, Ugam-Chatkal National Natural Park park 500 kg of wheat, 100 kg of barley, 300 kg of feed and 38 kg of salt, Aral Sea National Natural Park wheat, bran, salt and 600 bales of coarse hay, Lower Amudarya State Biosphere Reserve soft feed and 1100 bales of coarse hay, Bukhara specialized nursery " Dzheyran" barley, alfalfa and carrots.

Also, 150 bales of coarse hay and 250 kg of feed were distributed in the zones favorable for wild animals of the Oktog-Tomdi state reserve, 2 tons of bran, 250 pieces of pressed straw and alfalfa were distributed in the Sudoche-Akpetki reserve, and in the Central Kyzylkum National Natural Park. 2 tons of barley, straw and pressed alfalfa, as well as 300 kg of salt, in the Pap National Natural Park bran, salt, alfalfa and wheat.

Biotechnical activities will continue for several days until the natural habitat conditions of wild animals improve, the ministry concluded.
