Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Presidential Resolution “On additional measures to strengthen the family and increase the activity of women” was adopted.

According to the Resolution, the requirement to increase the share of women among management personnel to 30 percent by 2030 will also be applied when forming the composition of executive bodies of state-owned enterprises, including boards of directors and supervisory boards.

From 1 February 2024:

educational organizations organize training courses in order to establish, develop, improve entrepreneurial activities and provide methodological assistance to women starting to engage in home-based work and handicrafts, with the involvement of experienced homeworkers and artisans;

expenses related to training women in professions in the field of home work and handicrafts are financed within the approved cost estimate from the State Trust Fund for the Support of Family and Women.

At the same time, a part of up to 70 percent of educational expenses spent on each graduate who has studied professions in educational organizations, not exceeding five times the size of the GBR, is covered by the state.

A module “Band bo‘lmagan xotin-qizlar” (“Women not engaged in work”) will be created on the basis of the “xotin-qizlar.uz” Platform, and it will be integrated with the information systems of ministries and departments.

Before 1 March 2024, electronic software will be developed to provide the ability to online evaluate participants in the open competition “Best Professional Training Program” held among non-state educational organizations, and from 2025 this competition will be held annually.

From 1 January 2024, the Fund for Attracting the Population to Entrepreneurship, after undergoing state registration as business entities, unemployed women will cover payments for the first three months of rent of buildings and premises up to ten times the size of the BRV for the purpose of producing and selling modern national clothing.

From 1 January 2024:

women are allowed to work in self-government bodies of citizens in the position of clerk for a period of up to 11 months on the basis of paid public works;

The category of persons in need of social protection, having difficulty finding work and unable to compete on equal terms in the labor market, jobs for which are reserved by organizations (employers), also includes persons who have suffered from family (domestic) violence.

A judicial corps will be formed, specializing in the consideration of family conflicts, in interdistrict civil courts based on advanced foreign experience.

As an experiment, from 1 February 2024, “family judges” will be introduced in the civil court of the city of Samarkand, Namangan and Mirzo-Ulugbek interdistrict civil courts by specializing two judges of these courts to consider family conflicts.
